My Story
In 2014, I began to pursue my journey in social work. After completing my education and working in several areas in the field, I recognized what it was I wanted to narrow in on, and who with. I became passionate about the lasting effects of trauma, and about how I could help others work through the challenges they are faced with currently as a result. More specifically, my passion grew through advocacy for victims of crime, survivors of abuse, and those affected by childhood and workplace trauma. Clarity on my direction came after relocating to Swift Current, Saskatchewan, where I continue my career as a mental health therapist, using my experience, education, and ability to authentically connect with others to achieve a more fulfilling life.

My Approach
I strongly believe in the power that connection plays as the energy that exists in a therapeutic relationship when people feel seen, heard, and valued without judgment. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based techniques. I believe that self-awareness is a key component of change towards growth and healing through an exploration of your experiences, beliefs, and emotions. I look forward to walking with you on your journey to gain awareness, find healing, and the fulfillment you deserve!
